The exam

Thirteen papers, three tiers

  1. Applied Knowledge

Three papers (BT, MA, FA), each a two-hour on-demand computer exam.

Objective items only: multiple choice, multiple response, number entry, drag and drop, hot spot.

    How Medly helps

    Every objective format

Number entry, multiple response, drag and drop and hot spot items, set the way the Applied Knowledge exams set them.

  2. Applied Skills

Six papers (LW, PM, TX, FR, AA, FM), three hours each, four sessions a year.

Objective and case-based objective sections, then constructed responses typed into a word processor or spreadsheet.

    How Medly helps

Working marked, not just the answer

Constructed responses scored line by line against the marking scheme, so you see where the marks went and why.

  3. Strategic Professional

Four papers: SBL and SBR, plus two of AFM, APM, ATX and AAA. Three and a quarter hours each.

Long scenario answers, human-marked, with professional-skills marks for how the argument is made.

    How Medly helps

    A plan across the papers

Medly schedules the papers you are sitting this session and weights the days towards the one closest.

Everything you need to pass

Exam-style questions, every format

Vignettes, item sets, calculations and constructed responses, written the way your exam writes them and marked the way it marks them.

A study plan to exam day

Medly works out how many questions a day it takes to be ready for your sitting, weighted to the topics worth most, and tracks you against it.

Why, not just what

Get a question wrong and Medly explains the reasoning, then lets you try again.

Written answers marked

Constructed responses scored against the examiner's points, with feedback on what earned credit.

FAQs

The CFA Program (Levels I, II and III), the ACCA (all thirteen papers), the USMLE (Steps 1, 2 CK and 3) and the NCLEX-RN, wherever you are. More qualifications are being added.

Each course is written to the format its examiners use: three-option items and vignettes for the CFA, objective tests and constructed responses for the ACCA, single-best-answer vignettes for the USMLE and the Next Generation item types for the NCLEX-RN. The exam bodies are not involved in Medly and do not endorse it.

Against a points-based scheme modelled on the examiner's, with the credit you earned shown line by line. For a constructed response Medly says which points a grader would have looked for and which your answer gave.

As with any AI technology, Medly isn't perfect, so we recommend checking your answers. However, Medly is specifically designed for learning and has a lower error rate compared to general AI models.

No. You pay once for 1, 6 or 12 months of access, and it simply ends when the time is up. Nothing renews and there is nothing to cancel.
