What the account does
Invite them in a minute
We email your child a link and they set their own account up — a password, or Google, Apple or Microsoft. If they already use Medly, hand them your household's join code instead and nothing about their work changes.
Pay for one child, or all of them
Each child gets their own plan, started and managed from your account. You can see what renews and when, change a card, switch plan or cancel. If a plan is already paid from somewhere else, we say so rather than charging twice.
Set what they're working towards
Choose each child's country and level. That decides the exam boards and subjects they see, and how a new plan is priced. Changing it leaves any plan they're on running exactly as it is.
Pass it on to another parent
Every household gets a code to share. When another parent uses it and starts a plan for their child, both of you get money off a subscription.
Enough to help, not enough to hover
You get the shape of how they're getting on, so you can ask a better question at dinner. You don't get to read over their shoulder.

It takes a minute, and it's separate from your child's. Creating one costs nothing — you only pay for their plans.
Add your child
Invite them by email, or give them your join code. Their account joins your household the moment they accept it.
Sort out their plan
Pick a plan and they have full access straight away. Somebody else already paying? Leave it where it is — we'll show you that it's covered.

We'll show their plan as paid from another account and leave the billing where it is, so nobody is charged twice. If it stops renewing, you can start a plan for them from your account.
Open the billing portal from your dashboard — the same place you'd change a card or switch plan. The plan stays active until the end of the period you've already paid for.
