A major refresh for existing subjects

We're also updating the subjects already on Medly. You'll find broader specification coverage, more questions to practise with, and mark schemes that better reflect how examiners award marks.

These updates will roll out subject by subject over the coming week. We're updating the curriculum as part of the refresh, so some topics and lessons may be in a different place. But don't worry, your existing work will come with you. Questions you've already attempted will appear in the new lessons alongside your previous attempts, and your progress will stay intact. This means that you can carry on where you left off.

Smarter marking

Medly now follows your working more thoughtfully across multi-part questions. Where the mark scheme allows error carried forward, a slip in part (a) won't automatically cost you the same marks again in part (b). Medly can still recognise the correct working that follows.

It also checks dependent marks, where a later step only earns credit if it follows from an earlier result. By keeping those steps in context, Medly can give fairer feedback on how your answer fits together and what you've understood.

Answer with a photo

Got your answer on paper? Take a photo of your working with your phone or upload an image from your camera roll. Medly converts it and puts it straight into the answer box on screen, ready to be marked.

Typing a long answer can get in the way of practising, especially when it includes equations or lots of written working. Photo upload means less time typing and more time solving the question.

To use it, select the small camera icon below the answer space for a question, then upload your image.

Our primary focus has been to make Medly's AI as helpful as possible for you. We've fine-tuned our own models around the revision tasks students use Medly for, then run them directly in our platform. Together, these improvements mean a faster, fresher experience to help you study more efficiently.
