Medly Shuffle: Adaptive Practice That Finds Your Weak Spots and Fixes Them
2 Apr 2026
We've just launched Medly Shuffle, a new adaptive practice mode that figures out where your weak points are and targets them directly. No more guessing what to revise next.
What Is Medly Shuffle?
Shuffle works with your exam specification to quickly identify the topics you're weakest on, then adapts in real time. Getting questions right? It steps up the difficulty or moves you onto another topic. Struggling? It dials things back and gives you more support. Everything happens quickly and efficiently, with no wasted time on stuff you already know.
It's built for students who are short on time and want every revision session to count.
How Medly Shuffle Works
- Shuffle scans your spec. It looks across every topic in your specification to figure out where the gaps are.
- Targets your weak points. Shuffle serves you questions on the topics you need the most help with. No cherry-picking the easy stuff.
- Adapts as you answer. Getting it right? Difficulty goes up or you move on. Getting it wrong? It dials back and helps you build understanding.
- Every minute counts. No wasted time on topics you've nailed. Shuffle keeps you working on the things that will actually move your grade.
Adaptive AI Revision for GCSE and A-Level Students
Most revision is passive: re-reading notes, highlighting textbooks, watching videos. The research is clear that active retrieval practice is far more effective. Medly Shuffle takes this a step further by making that practice adaptive. Instead of working through a fixed set of questions, Shuffle continuously adjusts to your performance so you're always working at the right level on the right topics.
This is the kind of personalised revision that used to require a private tutor. Now it's built into Medly and available to every student.

Where to Find Shuffle
You'll spot it straight away. When you sign in, Shuffle is front and centre, ready to go.
After that, open any subject, scroll to the bottom of Practice, and you'll see Shuffle sitting right there. Tap it and let it do the rest.

Try It Now
If you're short on time and want to make the most of every revision session, Shuffle is built for exactly that. Give it a go.
